FOOD SORTER

 

At the heart of our operations are volunteers helping us sort, pack and distribute healthy food to those in need. Food sorting projects for individuals and groups can be scheduled throughout the year for the following times:

Weekdays: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm 
Weekends: Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00pm

FOOD BOX DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANCE

 

We need people to volunteer during the weekday on a regular basis to help distribute Supplemental Food Program boxes. Register new clients for the program and assist seniors with the 35-pound food box at one of our numerous distributions located throughout the city. Please be comfortable working at public sites with seniors and women from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. No experience necessary – just a desire to help your community.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS

 

Help end hunger by supporting our administrative office! We are looking for committed individuals to assist our staff with filing, mailing, data entry, reception desk support and clerical duties. If you're looking to volunteer in this capacity, please contact us to set up an interview.

 

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

 

Joshua's Heart Foundation raises food, money and community awareness with a wide variety of food drives and special events throughout the year. Volunteers collect food and money at these fun community activities, which are often held on evenings and weekends. Please contact us for more information about upcoming events.
